There was no wiretapping, and the report on 10,000 members of radical Islam did not refer to BiH

After the meeting of the intelligence service directors of BiH and Croatia, the Intelligence-Security Agency of BiH issued a statement, writes Patria.

- Osman Mehmedagić, Director General of OSA, and Trifko Buha, Deputy Director General, received a delegation from SOA led by Director Daniel Markić.

During the visit, they discussed the current security situation in the region with an emphasis on the fight against terrorism, organized crime, strengthening intelligence capabilities, as well as all issues of common interest in the context of current events, both in the region and in relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia. In this regard, cooperation was assessed as very productive, open, and intensive in all areas, and it was concluded that there are no problems burdening the relations between the two security-intelligence agencies.

The meeting also addressed the recent Report of the Security-Intelligence Agency of the Republic of Croatia, and it was clarified that, as stated in the Report, the number of adherents of radical interpretations of Islam did not refer to Bosnia and Herzegovina but to the wider Southeast European region, and a joint stance was expressed for even stronger engagement in connecting the region regarding the fight against terrorism. At the end of the meeting, it was concluded that the trend of good bilateral cooperation should continue - the statement said.
