NO QUORUM Mioković interrupted extraordinary session on job losses before voting on conclusions

(Patria) - The 17th extraordinary session of the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament was interrupted today after the debate concluded and before voting on the proposed conclusions due to a lack of quorum. Otherwise, the hall of the House of Representatives was mostly occupied by opposition representatives, and a few representatives from the Trojka parties.

The Speaker of the House, Dragan Mioković, requested an electronic determination of the number of representatives in the hall.

"I note that there are 42 representatives in the hall. We do not have a quorum for decision-making and voting, and I am interrupting the session, and we will continue it when the conditions are met," said Mioković.

Representatives held a debate on the Information on job losses in the Federation of BiH, in the period December 2024 - September 2025.

Official data from the FBiH Tax Administration showed that on November 18, 2025, there were 546,537 employed persons in the FBiH, which is 5,719 fewer workers compared to the same period in 2024.

During the debate, it was stated that there are 2,000 fewer workers in the trade sector since the amendments to the Law on Internal Trade, which prohibit work on Sundays, came into effect. The application of that law began on November 17, 2024.
