Nicholas Hill awarded "Mediterranean Basin" prize

Nicholas M. Hill is the recipient of the "Mediterranean Basin" prize, which the Center for Transatlantic Relations SAIS at Johns Hopkins University in Washington awards to deserving diplomats, businessmen, and individuals and organizations who have contributed to the development of democracy, economy, and society as a whole through their work, reports the Patria News Agency.

The Center for Transatlantic Relations SAIS appreciates the enormous effort and successful work of Mr. Nicholas Hill, which fully reflects the policy of the United States of America and our comprehensive support for Bosnia and Herzegovina on its path towards EU and NATO integration. We are proud of the successful work of the United States Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, led by its Chargé d'Affaires, Nicholas Hill.

The Center for Transatlantic Relations SAIS will organize a ceremony and reception in honor of Mr. Nicholas Hill in Washington.

Recipients of the "Mediterranean Basin" award from the USA, besides Nicholas Hill, include: Senator Jeanne Shaheen, Senator James Inhofe, and Congressman Robert Aderholt.
