Neither journalists nor foreigners gave HDZ and SNSD as much power as SDA did

The Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, although created at a time when the primary goal was to stop the war, provides sufficient guarantees for the protection of the rights of all constituent peoples, as well as citizens living in the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

And no one is using that as a basis to defend against politically fabricated theses that have been endangering our future for more than a decade, and poisoning our present. Permanent crises based on the creation of ethno-enemies and ethno-victims have endangered the survival of all of us living in BiH. The darkening of minds has lasted too long.

And the factual situation, especially when you go to the corners of this country where there are no cameras, where the greyness of suffering and poverty erodes the last remnants of life, you realize that these corners of the country and those who eke out an existence in them are actually one of the most frequent results of ethno-trident policies.

And greyness has flooded BiH.

At the same time, in mansions and villas, protectors of ethno-interests conduct "high" politics, wage fierce battles for their ethno-martyrs, and play the role of saviors. So far, no living example of an ordinary person saved by this ethno-high politics has been found.

The Croatian Democratic Union, led by Dragan Čović, has spent a whole decade talking about legitimacy and the Election Law. In the meantime, they have left the Croats of Bosnia and Herzegovina with only one real choice - to leave in search of a better life or to remain in the backwaters of life, without any ray of hope for improvement.

Of course, Čović and his entourage also suffered in mansions and exclusive world resorts and winter resorts. The story is the same with Milorad Dodik's SNSD.

The third horn of the ethno-trident, I can almost certainly claim, has pursued the most disastrous and dangerous policy. Lost between the paradise valleys from Sarajevo to Sarajevo around the planet and a life blacker than coal and worse than despair, the "champions" of the Party of Democratic Action have brought us to a state where self-destruction is the closest possible option. Every time we hit rock bottom, these SDA champions prove to us that they can always bury us deeper.

The question is whether we can go further and whether it is possible to move away from the bottom, towards the top.

Bosniaks are today, due to such policies, in complete darkness and a dead end. Almost in a hopeless situation. From what the Dayton Accords and the Constitution, laws, and other regulations enabled and guaranteed them, the SDA has brought them to a situation where they have less than a third of that.

Putting aside the fact that those delegated by the SDA are generally not cadres whose knowledge and education reflect the minimum for the position they are delegated to, the SDA has delegated key positions in the state and its two entities to other parties.

The policy of nepotism and rule is slowly coming to fruition. Bosniaks are the last resort in all aspects of BiH. In the state government, parliament, in the HJPC, Court, Prosecutor's Office, Border Police, SIPA, UIO. I won't list further, because it is completely clear that the three-decade policy of the SDA is actually an unprecedented treacherous policy towards its own people and its own country.

That SDA, and such an SDA, has carried out a coup d'état against the state it advocates for in every of the last 30 years. And lo and behold, the SDA today accuses Gordana Tadić and the man to whom she reports, Dragan Čović, of a coup d'état. And that SDA allowed the BiH Prosecutor's Office to fall into the hands of Gordana Tadić and Čović.

It was neither journalists, nor foreigners, nor anyone else who gave HDZ and SNSD as much power as the SDA did.

The first to feel it were the members of the Army of BiH. Bakir Izetbegović also remembers some of them today. However, Izetbegović falsifies even that remembrance.

While talking about the commanders and fighters of the Army of BiH, Izetbegović forgets General Mehmed Alagić, a man who entered the books of international military strategies for the liberation of Vlašić, and who was killed by fabricated trials after the SDA abandoned him. Today, Izetbegović also mentions Dudaković, Dreković, and some others, but the SDA abandoned most of them in their defense before the BiH Court.

Izetbegović remembers little of what the SDA, through its disastrous actions, has burdened Bosniaks with, and which they will have to fight to get rid of for years to come.

Among these endangered Bosniaks are those fighters who are not prosecuted by the prosecutor's offices, but by the ruthlessness of life where SDA cadres fight for Bosniaks. What about all those medical specialists, IT experts, engineers, and the like who reached professional heights only after fleeing the area where Izetbegović and his party fought.

On the other hand, when the policy of neutralizing Bosniaks from institutions to which they have a constitutional right was not enough, the SDA, with the considerable help of the Islamic Community, tried to deeply divide the Bosniak ethnic body.

Every election led to deeper divisions, and a people who are divided, even when they are in a chasm between Greater Serbian and Greater Croatian interests, will not long await their end. That is the true product of the vital interests for which Izetbegović and his SDA entourage are fighting.

Aggression, war crimes, and genocide have cleansed parts of this country of Bosniaks. The SDA's policy is approaching the point where it will be more responsible for the expulsion of far more Bosniaks than the Greater Serbian and Greater Croatian aggression.

And then Izetbegović, as cold as a spritzer, says on FTV's Dnevnik: "The SDA will win in 2020, and in 2022, 2024, 2026..." Somehow, at least for the author of these lines, that confident message from Bakir Izetbegović sounded like a death sentence for Bosniaks.

In three decades of its political existence, the SDA has only managed to degrade the international and internal position of Bosniaks, hand over state institutions to those who would gladly tear it apart, destroy unity among Bosniaks, and cause tens of thousands of members of that nation to emigrate.

Therefore, I hope that Bakir Izetbegović's announcement is just a virtual nightmare and that the peoples and citizens of this country will not allow his announcements to come true. Because, for all that it has done, the SDA deserves a decade of rest, not a decade of victories.
