Nezim Halilović: They sincerely pray to God for another mandate, allegedly "for the good of the people and the Homeland"

Imam of the King Fahd Mosque, Nezim ef. Halilović, spoke - at last Friday's sermon - about the problems of corruption and the indolence of politicians in Bosnia and Herzegovina towards the needs of the people, while at the same time fighting to stay in power as long as possible, reported Preporod, Patria reports.

One of the most influential theologians in BiH said that "we are living in a time when many individuals and groups are enchanted by their actions and think that their joy will never end... The time of our lives is also the time of sycophants and spineless individuals, who for low interests betray themselves, their honor, faith, and Homeland".

- There are plenty of those who boast about what they have not done and even celebrate others' victories as their own – warned Halilović.

- How many braggarts are there in our environment who, during the severe aggression against the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, did not dare to leave their basements, and some of them today decide and influence the making of decisions and laws? They like to pose for photos and videos, they like to parade, they like to have personal security, they like to travel in official vehicles, they like to talk on official phones without limits, they like young lamb, rich cakes, and even stronger drinks, but not at their expense, but at the expense of the State.

They are used to air-conditioned spaces and are not comfortable with either heat or cold! They send their children to private schools and universities, send them abroad for professional development, and employ them without competition! And when elections approach, they become serious and sincerely pray to God for another mandate, long life and health, and for their functions to last as long as possible, allegedly "for the good of the people and the Homeland" – said Halilović, among other things, reports Patria.
