SARAJEVO, (Patria) – Measurements at 3 PM showed that the air in Sarajevo is unhealthy, with an air quality index of 198 and a high level of PM 10 particles.
The air is also unhealthy in Zenica, Ilijaš, and Visoko.
“Possible exacerbation of symptoms and intensity of diseases in people with heart and respiratory organ diseases, such as asthma. Everyone else could begin to feel the negative impact of pollution on their health.
The following groups should reduce any outdoor physical activities: people with lung and heart conditions, pregnant women, children, and the elderly. Prolonged or greater exertion during outdoor activities should also be avoided by everyone else,” according to the Ekoakcija website.
In Tuzla and Kakanj, the air is unhealthy for sensitive groups.
