Bosnia and Herzegovina's Independence is Protected, Maintained, and Strengthened in Canada Too!

(Patria) - Mayors of Canadian cities, members of the Canadian government and parliament paid tribute to the state of BiH, congratulating March 1st, Independence Day.

More than ten mayors of Canada's largest cities, including the capital city of Ottawa, Canada's largest city Toronto, and the Olympic city of Calgary, which is a sister city to Sarajevo, paid tribute to the state of BiH on the occasion of Independence Day. This represents 25 million residents of these Canadian cities who are well aware of the benefits of the state of BiH.

In their written congratulations, Canadian mayors, joining the Bosnian diaspora in Canada in celebrating Independence Day, highlighted the great significance of this date, which symbolizes the sovereignty, independence, integrity, and unity of BiH. They emphasized that Independence Day is a moment to reflect on the struggles and sacrifices made to achieve independence and the progress that has been made since then. The resilience and spirit of the Bosnian people serve as an inspiration to all of us, Canadian political officials note.

Mayors of Canadian cities and political officials also wrote that they are proud to have such an active and diverse Bosnian community that enriches the Canadian cultural mosaic. The contributions of the Bosnian diaspora in Canada in various spheres, whether in business, arts, academia, or social work, are invaluable, fostering understanding and cooperation among all residents, Canadian officials conclude.

By decision of the mayors of Toronto, Calgary, and Hamilton, on the occasion of March 1st, BiH Independence Day, and in honor of the state of BiH, the national flags of BiH were ceremoniously raised on the central flagpoles in front of the city halls of Toronto, Calgary, and Hamilton. Memorable moments when many families with their children take pictures with the flag of their one and only homeland, BiH.

Electronic symbols with the names of Canadian cities are also in the colors of the BiH flag in honor of the state of BiH, on the occasion of Independence Day.

"We in Canada witness that BiH is strengthening in Canada. Its enemies in Canada, and there are many, did not expect the Bosnian diaspora to so proudly and defiantly defend the independence and statehood of BiH. They were convinced that BiH would disappear. But BiH is increasingly present in Canada. Canada stands with BiH.

We tell well-meaning people from Canada that together we must protect and strengthen the independence and statehood of BiH.

To those with ill intentions, who have not abandoned their illusory Greater-state projects, which are particularly strong in Canada, we say that in us in Canada, they will find an impenetrable bulwark.

We congratulate all citizens of BiH, wherever they may be, on March 1st, Independence Day.
