(Patria) - The third emergency session of the Independent Board of the Parliamentary Assembly (PA) of BiH, scheduled for today, was not held due to lack of quorum, the PA BiH announced.
The agenda was to include only one item - consideration of the notification of withdrawal of the request for dismissal of the Director of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) Darko Ćulum.
The President of the Independent Board, Enes Obralija, claims that all members were duly notified of the session, but that some of them did not appear today without prior justification for their absence.
Let us recall, Ćulum submitted a request for dismissal to the Council of Ministers of BiH in March this year after the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, called on Serbs to leave state institutions.
However, his resignation was never formally accepted. The Council of Ministers did not relieve him of his duties, and he remained, at least on paper, the director of SIPA, although he has not shown up for work since March.
