Independent Board Re-announces Public Competition for Appointment of FUP Director and Deputy Director

(Patria) - The Independent Board of the FBiH Parliament considered the received applications for the public competition for the appointment of the Director and Deputy Director of the Federal Police Administration (FUP) at today's session.

It was stated that a total of three applications were received, two for the position of FUP Director - namely Igor Marić and Baro Pršljo, and one for the position of FUP Deputy Director by Vahidin Šahinpašić and Baro Pršljo - who also applied for the position of FUP Director.

Since Article 53, Paragraph 2 of the Law on Internal Affairs of FBiH ("Official Gazette of the Federation of BiH", No. 81/14) stipulates that if the Independent Board cannot compile a list of three candidates who meet the competition requirements based on the published competition, the competition will be repeated within 15 days from the date the published competition ends.

Therefore, the Independent Board, at its 1st extraordinary session on the same day, made a Decision to re-announce the public competition for the appointment of the FUP Director and Deputy Director.
