Unprecedented: Krišto seeks discretion line for journalists, keyboard typing bothers them too

An unusual scene occurred at today's session of the House of Representatives of the BiH PA, when the secretary of the House of Representatives of the BiH PA, Marin Vukoja, approached the area where journalists follow the session of this house and warned them to "type more gently, because it echoes in the hall," writes the Patria agency.

To the great surprise of his journalist colleagues, Vukoja stated that the Collegium (Borjana Krišto, Šefik Džaferović, and Mladen Bosić) cannot work because of the clatter of keyboards! Journalists were shocked by this, as well as by the way the house secretary addressed them, as this is truly a rare situation, at least in the BiH Parliament, to have experienced something like this.

Otherwise, journalists are seated behind the deputies in the back of the hall, separated by thick glass. The Collegium is seated at the very front of the hall, making it impossible for them to have heard the "clatter of keyboards" at all. All journalists covering the session use laptops, and it is impossible to produce that kind of noise.

Damir Arnaut (SBB), whom the journalists approached after their work was effectively hindered, publicly read out to the Collegium the article of the Rules of Procedure that speaks about the unimpeded coverage of sessions by the media, and called on the Collegium, primarily the Speaker of the House Borjana Krišto, to allow journalists to work unimpeded. Krišto denied giving Vukoja such an order. However, as we have learned, Krišto issued an order this morning: to introduce a discretion line for journalists so they cannot "intercept them in the corridors"!
