Illegal actions of elected officials shroud the state and citizens in darkness, and no one is held accountable

Media reports that the Government of the RS entity has rejected the proposal to pay compensation of eight million marks to the company "HES Vrbas", owned by the Slovenian company "Vijadukt", due to the termination of the concession contract for the construction of two hydroelectric plants on the Vrbas River. And instead of eight million now, based on the decision of the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes in Washington, worth more than 90 million marks, which ruled in favor of "Vijadukt" in April 2022, the RS entity now has to pay more than one hundred million marks.

Journalists, the public, and the judicial system are investigating corruption and the theft of public funds by holders of public office. And the results are very weak. But we must ask a very important question that needs an answer: who has been held accountable for causing enormous damage to the budgets of all levels of government and institutions due to illegal actions?

And the damage, enormous damage, has been caused by concluding harmful contracts, illegal dismissals of workers, and illegal reductions in salaries of civil servants, which, based on court rulings, required the payment of millions of Bosnian marks, including default interest.

How is it possible that such damage is inflicted on the state and citizens due to illegal and unprofessional work, while the individuals who did it bear absolutely no responsibility?
