Non-governmental organization Human Appeal donated valuable medical equipment to the Medical School in Zenica

(Patria) - Australian non-governmental organization Human Appeal today handed over a donation of medical equipment to the Public Institution Medical School Zenica worth 30,000 KM, intended for equipping the anatomy classroom.

Thanks to this valuable donation, students will have the opportunity to better master the curriculum through practical exercises.



The ceremonial opening of the modernly equipped classroom was marked by cutting a ribbon, and the event was attended by representatives of Human Appeal - Director Bashar Al-Jamal, Eissa Youssef, representative and coordinator of this humanitarian organization, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Zenica-Doboj Canton Mirza Mušija, as well as 31 students from Australia, who came to support the project, exchange knowledge and experiences, and meet the students of the school in Zenica.



Nedžada Alispahić, director of the Public Institution Medical School Zenica, thanked the donors and presented certificates of appreciation to Bashar Al-Jamal, the Human Appeal Mission, and Eissa for their support and assistance in the school's work, emphasizing that the equipment in the anatomy classroom will significantly improve the education of future generations.



- The anatomy classroom is now equipped with modern teaching aids that contribute to higher quality teaching and greater student involvement in practical work. Among the new equipment are virtual reality glasses, anatomical models, and a smart board, which will help teachers organize lessons for students in a simpler and more interactive way - said Alispahić.



She added that this investment is part of a broader project, in which more than 1.5 million KM has been invested in the school over the past four and a half years, thanks to the support of the Government of Zenica-Doboj Canton and the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport.



Minister Mušija emphasized that there is great interest in this school, and that the donation is even more valuable because it enables better education for future healthcare professionals.



Representatives of Human Appeal stated that the best people are those who help others, and the involvement of 32 university students from Australia, including six medical students, who attended the ceremony and sent a message that education connects people without borders, is of particular importance.



- Your studies are not easy, but every skill you acquire today can save someone's life one day. People in Australia are seriously interested in connecting with you. This is a partnership in knowledge - said Human Appeal Director Bashar Al-Jamal.



He also emphasized the importance of continuous cooperation with Human Appeal, which has been working on projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina since 1992 to improve the living conditions of citizens, youth, and especially socially vulnerable families.
