Incredible ingenuity of a Mostar resident: Collected aid for himself from a hodza's Facebook profile

A group of humanitarians from Sarajevo warned via social networks that a certain Elviz Alčić from Buna near Mostar is not a person in need, but a scammer who exploits people's goodwill.

Sarajevo humanitarians told the BH news agency Patria that Alčić opened a Facebook account in the name of Efendija Abdul Aziz Karajic, from which he then invited friends to donate money to Alčić, to pay for the funeral and burial of his father who had allegedly passed away.
However, the humanitarians uncovered the entire scam after Alčić could not produce his father's death certificate.

- We wanted to help him, but in the end, we suspected something was not right. We discovered the scam only when we went to his house - said those who wanted to help this man.

In comments on social networks, people from Mostar are reporting that Alčić is an "old" scammer, and that the story with the fake hodza's Facebook profile is just his new trick.

Alčić himself eventually admitted that it was his attempt at a scam, writes NAP.
