Prime Minister Konaković's Tasteless Jokes: There Will Be Water When Robert De Niro Arrives

KS Prime Minister Elmedin Konaković posted a photo on his FB profile that is circulating on social networks, featuring popular Hollywood actor Robert De Niro "warning" Konaković to be careful if there is no water at night.

With this post, Konaković wanted to show that he accepts jokes at his expense due to night-time water restrictions in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, but his accompanying comment showed that he is not aware of the seriousness of the position he holds and that he should be equally at the service of all citizens of KS.

- There will be water, Robert, Sarajevo is ready, we have improved the situation a bit - Konaković wrote.

It didn't take long for numerous citizens of this city, who struggle with bottles and canisters at night, to write to the prime minister what they thought of his action.

The reconstruction of the water supply network has been underway for several days, and the main Sarajevo thoroughfare has been dug up, causing major traffic jams at a time when numerous tourists are arriving in Sarajevo for the SFF, which begins on August 12. We hope that the prime minister will personally inform De Niro about everything he has "undertaken" to ensure there is water when he arrives.
