The body of Slovenian jumper Andrej Beuc (34) has not yet been found, after he disappeared on Sunday after a jump into the Drina river in Zvornik, writes Patria.

Beuc is a professional skydiver and an experienced jumper. On Sunday, he jumped from the city bridge in Zvornik during a local event, but that jump turned out to be fatal for him.
After jumping into the river, he surfaced several times, but disappeared very quickly afterwards. Rescuers could not save him.

It is still not possible to determine with certainty why Beuc died. An autopsy of the body will determine what injuries Beuc sustained that prevented him from swimming after the jump. It is most likely that the jumper hit the water with his head instead of his hands, which could have resulted in a concussion or a fractured vertebra.

However, it is hard to believe that Beuc could have made such a mistake. He was a very experienced skydiver and jumper. Those who knew him say that it is also surprising that Beuc withdrew from jumps from the waterfall in Jajce just a day before the accident in Zvornik. Beuc was supposed to be one of the participants in the international jumps from the waterfall in Jajce, but he withdrew from the competition. It is not known why he made this decision.
