Unstable weather until the end of the week: Rain in Herzegovina, snow in Bosnia, followed by a significant cooling

Unstable weather with rain in central and southern Herzegovina and snow in Bosnia is likely until the end of the working week. Snow in Bosnia will be of lesser intensity compared to Sunday, it was announced from the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute.

"Precipitation in the form of rain in Herzegovina is expected to be mainly above 10 mm
on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. On Friday morning, snow is also possible in the south of the country.

At the same time, air temperatures, especially in the morning hours until Friday, will be increasingly lower.
Minimum air temperatures will generally range between -8°C and -2°C in Bosnia,
up to 2°C in Herzegovina. Maximum daily temperatures between -5°C and 0°C in Bosnia up to 6 in the Herzegovina region. On Friday in Bosnia, expected morning temperatures will range from -15°C to -9°C, in the Herzegovina region from -4°C to 0°C.

According to available synoptic models, from Monday, January 12th,
mostly cloudy and stable weather without precipitation is forecast. Mid-week (from January 15th), new precipitation is possible. Precipitation, excluding mountainous areas, will mainly be in the form of rain.

Morning temperatures between -1°C and 4°C in Bosnia up to 7°C in Herzegovina, maximum
daily temperatures between 2°C and 7°C in Bosnia up to 11°C in Herzegovina.
