Nešić spoke with Štic: EUFOR ready to help residents and local communities affected by snowfall

(Patria) - EUFOR Commander László Szőke and Minister of Security Nenad Nešić had a phone conversation during which Commander Szőke confirmed EUFOR's readiness to provide assistance in resolving difficulties caused by heavy snowfall.

The EUFOR Commander emphasized that their capacities, including technical support and personnel, can be made available exclusively at the request of the BiH Ministry of Security.

This cooperation once again confirms the exceptional relationship between the Ministry and EUFOR, as well as the personal relationship between Minister Nešić and Commander Szőke. Their effective communication and coordination speak to the importance EUFOR can have in assisting citizens, especially when acting at the request of legitimate BiH authorities.

Minister Nešić expressed gratitude to EUFOR for its readiness to support local communities in crisis situations.

"EUFOR has once again proven to be an important partner of Bosnia and Herzegovina, not only in maintaining stability but also in resolving concrete challenges affecting our citizens," stated Minister Nešić.

EUFOR's capacities, including technical equipment and personnel, will be used at the request of the Ministry of Security if necessary, with prior coordination with local authorities and competent institutions.
