Nešić gives SDS and PDP until end of January or he will form a new bloc

The leadership of DNS, headed by Nenad Nešić, held a meeting with smaller opposition parties, but SDS, PDP, and SPS did not respond to the invitation.

Nešić stated after the meeting that everyone was invited on time and that claims of insufficient time to prepare for the meeting were unfounded.

"The elections in Prijedor are a message to the opposition and the authorities. What message did those who did not participate in the elections send us? We have never sent an ultimatum to anyone, only a proposal for action. After 16 years of opposition activity, something must change for SDS and PDP. We are leaving the door open for agreement. We have our candidates, one is Radislav Jovičić, the other is myself. But that doesn't mean we will be the candidates in the end. We are giving the opposition time until the end of January. Gentlemen from the opposition, come to your senses. DNS is the third party in RS, we have no internal conflicts, DNS members have no intention of replacing me, nor do I have any intention of stepping down. No one will find an ally in us to destroy RS. If someone independently puts forward their candidates for individual functions, that will be a sign of who does not want us to act together," said Nešić.

When asked about a third bloc, Nešić said that DNS would form it if the rest of the opposition did not respond to DNS's invitation by the end of January and if someone independently put forward candidates for the same positions. Nešić also lashed out at Nebojša Vukanović, whom he accused of being a troublemaker.

As he stated, DNS was not afraid of Dodik, so "it will not be afraid of someone who imitates him on their fingertips."

"To the members of SDS and PDP, sincere opposition members who know that Nebojša Vukanović is leading them to yet another defeat in 20 years, I have a clear message – the doors of DNS are not closed. What we have defined as the path to victory remains. For starters, you must make a human and political decision to part ways with defeats. SDS, for starters, should regain its president. Even if it is Mirko Šarović. To listen to the voice of its members and associates, and not to have its party led by a non-party person, a troublemaker, and a slanderer, Nebojša Vukanović," Nešić concluded.
