Nešić: Extraordinary session of the Council of Ministers expected, decision on acceptance of BiH citizens and their relatives from Palestine

(Patria) - Bosnia and Herzegovina has not yet secured the acceptance of its citizens and their relatives evacuated from the Gaza Strip, and it is unclear when they will arrive in Sarajevo. However, as Nenad Nešić, Minister of Security of BiH, told N1, an extraordinary session of the Council of Ministers of BiH is expected in the coming hours.

“In the coming hours, I expect a session of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina to be held in order to adopt a decision on the acceptance of our citizens coming from Gaza. We are asking the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the exact number of people to be evacuated and to provide us with their identification data so we know who they are,” Nešić said.

He then added:

“We will also determine the border crossing through which they can enter BiH, and most likely it will be the Sarajevo International Airport. All the data we receive will be forwarded to the Border Police. I expect the session to be held today.”
