Nešić angry at the EU: It is obvious that they do not see the Western Balkans as part of the enlargement

(Patria) - After BiH did not get the green light to start negotiations with the European Union, while Moldova and Ukraine did, the BiH Minister of Security, Nenad Nešić, commented.

"I would like anyone from the European Union to present just one argument and proof as to why Moldova is ahead of BiH and why it deserved to start membership negotiations. There are no such arguments! Therefore, it would be honest for them to tell us that they do not see the Western Balkans as part of the EU enlargement," he stated.

The EU granted Georgia candidate country status.

What EU leaders have emphasized is that negotiations with BiH will be opened when the necessary degree of alignment with the membership criteria is achieved. Several important laws remain on that path, on which the state coalition has not yet reached an agreement.
