(Patria) - The announcement by Aleksandar Vučić that he should travel to New York on April 21 and stay there for six to eight days to follow the UN Security Council session on Kosovo and the UN General Assembly session where the Resolution on Srebrenica is to be considered, shows that the Serbian president is obviously in a panic, because the adoption of the Resolution will change many things in BiH.
This was announced today by the People's European Alliance (NES) of BiH, which believes that Vučić is bothered by the fact that the General Assembly will, by all accounts, adopt the Resolution on the genocide in Srebrenica, for which Serbia was found guilty of failing to prevent genocide, and the International Court's ruling established that genocide was committed by the army and police of Republika Srpska.
"He is also bothered by the fact that no resolution has ever been adopted in the General Assembly that would, as Vučić says, 'state that Germany committed genocide in World War II'.
Vučić thinks that UN member states are naive and that it is possible to manipulate them. However, lies do not pass with a huge number of nations, and for them, unlike Serbia, the rulings of international courts are binding.
If he wants to come out clean, instead of lobbying against it, Serbia should vote for the Resolution on Srebrenica at the UN General Assembly session and thus open a new chapter in regional relations," stated NES BiH.
