NES: We most strongly condemn the death threats sent to Slaven Kovačević

(Patria) - Slaven Kovačević, an appellant before the European Court of Human Rights, a fighter for equal rights for all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, has received death threats.

The political party NES pointed out that they are convinced this is an attempt by the enemies of Bosnia and Herzegovina to intimidate and silence all those who advocate for the building of a modern, democratic state of Bosnia and Herzegovina in which all citizens will be equal, in accordance with international human rights documents and the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"We most strongly condemn the threats directed at Slaven Kovačević and demand that the competent state authorities urgently identify and punish the perpetrator. And to the perpetrator of this criminal offense and their masterminds, we say that we stand shoulder to shoulder with Slaven Kovačević in the fight for our country, Bosnia and Herzegovina, where everyone will be equal in rights and obligations, and nothing will deter us from that path.

We will never accept the policy of segregation and discrimination. These are fascist ideas that the entire international community has rejected", stated the NES press release.
