(Patria) - The People's European Alliance (NES) of Bosnia and Herzegovina, together with the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina, has submitted to the parliamentary procedure a Conclusion with proposals to include pedagogical psychologists in the Draft Law on the Activity of Psychologists as equal and competent professionals for performing psychological activities.
"Excluding pedagogical psychologists from the law that regulates psychological activities would mean causing long-term damage to our society, which would be reflected in the fact that a large number of professionals who can provide psychological help would be declared incompetent at a time when we are witnessing an increasing rate of violence in society and a growing need for professionals who can help improve mental health.
Adopting the law in the proposed form of the Draft would deprive pedagogical psychologists of the right to work that is guaranteed to them by education and a diploma from a public university," said Sandi Salkić, a representative of NES in the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on his Facebook profile.
