Unresolved property rights issues are an obstacle to opening the "Razigrani dani" kindergarten

The Chairman of the Centar Municipal Council, Nedžad Ajnadžić, hosted the Director of the Public Institution Children of Sarajevo, Mirjana Jovanović-Halilović, and the Head of the General and Legal Affairs Department of this institution, Aida Stambolić-Grošo, on January 5, 2015, reports the BH news agency Patria.

The reason for the meeting was to initiate activities regarding the kindergarten "Razigrani dani" at Patriotske lige street 46. It was emphasized at the meeting that unresolved property rights issues represent the biggest obstacle to opening this kindergarten.

As stated by Chairman Ajnadžić, the Municipal Council is unanimous in its decision to start resolving the problems concerning the opening of the "Razigrani dani" kindergarten.

- Wherever there are potential problems, the Municipal Council is ready to help. Property rights issues must be resolved. It is in our interest for the facility to be used for its intended purpose, i.e., for children to be educated there. We will help with equipping and putting this kindergarten into operation. We have already allocated funds, and we intend to do so in the future as well - emphasized Ajnadžić.

Director Jovanović-Halilović reminded that the Centar Municipality had already allocated 50,000 KM for this purpose.

- We received the money, but we faced problems in determining who the actual owner of the facility is. Therefore, we could not spend the money donated by the Centar Municipality for these purposes. Too much time has passed, and it is our wish and obligation to make the "Razigrani dani" kindergarten functional. This meeting was a step forward towards resolving the problem - emphasized Jovanović-Halilović.

It was concluded at the meeting that a working meeting should be organized as soon as possible, which will include representatives of the Public Institution Children of Sarajevo, the Centar Municipality, and a delegation from the Legal Affairs Office of Sarajevo Canton.
