Non-working days in Federation of BiH on May 1 and 2

(Patria) - The Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Policy announced that, in accordance with the Law on Holidays, which is applied as a federal law, May 1 - International Labour Day will be celebrated for two days - May 1 and 2.

Given that May 1, 2025, falls on a Thursday, the non-working days in the FBiH will be Thursday, May 1, and Friday, May 2. During these days, employers, institutions, administrative bodies, and other legal entities will not be working.

On the occasion of May 1, the Federal Minister of Labour and Social Policy, Adnan Delić, sent congratulations to all workers in the FBiH, stating that Labour Day is a symbol of the struggle for workers' rights, reminding us that work is the foundation of the dignity of every individual.

"In a time that brings numerous challenges, both in the labor market and through general global trends, we will continue to work on strengthening workers' rights, making them accessible to every worker.

We will also strive to make the dialogue between workers and employers, as well as representatives of the authorities, more meaningful and fairer.

On behalf of the Ministry and in my own name, happy May 1 to all workers in the Federation of BiH.

Every positive change is possible with the joint effort, responsibility, and mutual respect of all of us, who depend on each other," Minister Delić conveyed.
