"Unconfirmed" Kazazović: If Alispahić is elected director, it doesn't mean she will be appointed

Although the election of Đenana Alispahić as director of JU Primary School "Hadžići" was held on January 20, 2016, at the premises of Primary School "6. mart", the School Board has not yet submitted the Election Decision to the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of KS, confirmed the Minister Elvir Kazazović for the Patria News Agency.

In his written response, Minister Kazazović stated that he cannot confirm or deny that Alispahić was elected director of the newly founded school, but he contradicted himself further in his answers.

- We have unconfirmed information that Đenana Alispahić applied for the tender, that she was the only candidate, and that the members of the School Board, representing parents and employees, supported her election as director of the aforementioned school. The procedure for electing the director, which took place at the premises of JU Primary School "6. mart", is quite understandable, as the newly founded school does not have the conditions for such activities. If Đenana Alispahić was elected director, it does not mean she has been appointed. Before the appointment, the School Board must obtain the consent of the KS Government through the Ministry, and if she were appointed, she would be obliged to resign from Primary School "6. mart". Therefore, Đenana Alispahić is still the director only of JU Primary School "6. mart" – stated Kazazović.

On the other hand, the minister confirmed the reporting of the Patria agency that Primary School "Hadžići" is not registered in the Register of Primary Schools and that this will be done "when all the necessary conditions for the school's operation are met, which are still not fulfilled".

Although Alispahić planned to start classes at Primary School "Hadžići" in February, this will not be possible because the technical acceptance has not been completed.

- The Municipality of Hadžići also has jurisdiction in the technical acceptance of the school, and according to our information, the reason for slowing down these activities is a lawsuit regarding the tender for equipping the school – states Kazazović.

As for the division of students and teaching staff, which director Alispahić carried out before the start of the 2015/2016 school year, it was done at the request of the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of KS.

- The material was submitted to the Ministry on 08/18/2015, and we did not receive any written complaints – says Kazazović.

Incidentally, the process of electing the director was carried out at the last minute because everything was done during the temporary School Board. But, let's go in order.

On October 15, 2015, the KS Government issued a Decision on the appointment of acting president and members of the School Board of JU Primary School "Hadžići". Suada Kalem, acting president of the School Board, requested consent to announce a tender for the election and appointment of the school's director, and the Ministry granted consent on 12/21/2015. The tender was announced on December 30, 2015, and only Đenana Alispahić, director of Primary School "6. mart", applied. The entire procedure was carried out and timed precisely for the New Year holidays due to the expiration of director Alispahić's mandate at that school, and due to the plan to take over another school and thus secure her position for the next term.

Kazazović also explained that the appointment procedure for the director has not been completed and there will be no appointment until all conditions for the school's operation are met, but the director election procedure will be completed in accordance with current regulations. The school year should, however, start only from September 2016.

Incidentally, as the Patria agency previously reported, according to well-informed sources from Primary School "6. mart", Minister Kazazović approved this scenario for Đenana Alispahić back in the summer of 2015.

It has long been rumored in Hadžići that Alispahić will be succeeded as director of Primary School "6. mart" by Muhamed Čović.
