After, less than a month after his appointment, on June 23, 2023, acting director Lasić made changes to the decisions on appointing commissions for evaluating bids for the construction of Corridor Vc, led by the Procurement Service under international procedures, and instead of highly educated and experienced commission members, appointed members who do not speak English, let alone know the rules and procedures of procurements financed by international financial institutions, he has now done the same in the Design and Construction Service, with project managers - investor representatives for the motorway sections under construction.

Namely, by a Decision dated October 13, 2023, Denis Lasić, without any explanation, again abused his position and powers, replacing engineers with many years of experience and proven work on these tasks with engineers who have no experience in managing large infrastructure projects.

Another illogical aspect of these changes is that only engineers representing the Bosniak people were removed from their positions, namely Samir Pirić, Alaga Husić, Edin Honić, Reuf Kadrić and Muamer Bristrić, while Motorways employees who declare themselves as Croats - Vesna Dodig and Antonio Križanac remained in their positions as project managers.

Given such a situation, it is legitimate to ask whether the dismissals occurred due to unsatisfactory work of the project managers or whether the dismissals have a completely different connotation.

Most employees are unclear what Lasić wants to achieve with such actions, which certainly do not lead to better functioning of the Public Company Motorways.

The dismissals of the commissions for evaluating bids are already reflected in unsuccessful contract awards, i.e., cancellation of tenders, and the dismissals of project managers probably aim for a "better relationship" with contractors, implying illegal acquisition of property benefits.
