Unannounced meeting: Komšić and Nikšić reached an agreement, but do not want to reveal what about

A meeting between the presidents of the Democratic Front and SDP, Željko Komšić and Nermin Nikšić, was held in a Sarajevo establishment, reports the reporter of the BH News Agency Patria.

DF Minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, Predrag Kurteš, is also in their company.

Although they told Patria's reporter that the reason for the meeting was a casual drink, we learned from sources close to these politicians that some key decisions regarding the unification of the left and the joint appearance of these two parties in the 2016 local elections could be made today.  

Komšić said after the meeting that he and Nikšić discussed many topics, from private to political, and that they have quite similar views on political matters.  

- You see the situation in the country, and that's what we talked about the most. And we agree on the conclusions we adopted, Komšić said, not wanting to specify what it was about.

When asked if there was any talk about a joint appearance of SDP and DF in the 2016 local elections, and about the unification of the left, Nikšić said that the time will come to talk about that too, because the local elections are quite far away.

Also, Nikšić emphasized that at this moment there are more important political issues in the country, including the referendum in Republika Srpska.

Joking remarks

Komšić confirmed that the atmosphere was good with his joking remark to Kurteš, "Are you wearing glasses so Lagumdžija doesn't recognize you?".
