SARAJevo, (Patria) – Mandate holder for the Prime Minister of the Sarajevo Canton Government, Mario Nenadić, stated today in his responses to questions from the Sarajevo Canton Assembly deputies that he is the joint candidate of SDA, SBB, and DF. He added that he is an indigenous Sarajevan Croat, as is his entire family, and that there is no doubt about it.
One of the questions concerned diploma verification, to which Nenadić replied that it would be done in accordance with the law. He also announced support for the work of the Sarajevo Canton Office for Combating Corruption and Quality Management.
Nenadić stated that young people can be retained through quality education, timely employment, and other incentive measures.
He reminded the deputies that every law he proposed while he was Minister of Justice and Administration passed unanimously in the Sarajevo Canton Assembly.
“I believe I will be even more successful after these experiences.”
Nenadić also spoke about higher education, stating that the autonomy of the University of Sarajevo will be preserved, but the integration process will also continue.
Speaking about the migrant crisis, he said that migration and asylum issues fall under state jurisdiction.
“We are part of that state and together we must support the resolution of this crisis. Our obligation is to ensure the right to safe accommodation and social rights.”
He said that he owes nothing to the parties, but that he is grateful to them for nominating him.
“I walk proudly through my city, I defended it in every possible way, and it will be like that as long as I live.”
Nenadić stated that he will support everything good that the Sarajevo Canton Government, led by Edin Forto, has done, which is why some identical points from the principles of action are mentioned in the exposé.
