By: Avdo Avdić/Istraga.ba
In Bosnia, the name Abdulah is often shortened to Avdo. However, that does not mean it is the same name. My name, for example, is Avdo Avdić, and the boy who won the race in Leskovac is Abdulah Šehović. The name Abdulah Šehović was not pronounced in the Serbian public broadcaster's report, although they read out the names of all other boys and girls who won the races. Technical problems are a wonder. Especially when you need to pronounce the name - Abdulah.
And the free-spirited Belgrade weekly Vreme, ever since it was gnawed by the tooth of "opposition" time and money, has had certain technical problems when it needs to correct a lie that Nemanja has spread about some Avdo. Because, you know, Nemanja can lie about both Abdulah and Avdo due to "technical problems," while Avdo and Abdulah have no right to correct that lie.
Nemanja Rujević, a crypted Greater Serb (of course, this is my value judgment), writes in the weekly Vreme that the scandal at RTS Cross in Leskovac is fabricated.
"The unsigned report about the alleged 'scandal' originated from the controversial Sarajevo portal Istraga.ba, which published a second photo - little Abdulah with a diploma and medal, while other children are behind him on the podium. The photo suggests, writes this portal, that it is not just an oversight by RTS, but possible discrimination against Bosniaks in Serbia," writes Nemanja Rujević.
He writes and lies. Half an hour after this text was published, I, as the editor of the Istraga.ba portal, wrote to the editorial office of Vreme to correct this lie. Not only did they not correct it, they didn't even deign to reply to the email. Because Avdo's or Abdulah's truth has no chance against Nemanja's lies.
Nemanja Rujević claims that the news about the "alleged scandal originated from the controversial Sarajevo portal Istraga.ba". Easily verifiable - the news about the discrimination of the boy Abdulah did not "originate from the controversial Sarajevo portal Istraga.ba". The news was first published by the portal Sandžak Danas, on October 18th.
So, 24 hours before the Istraga.ba portal reported it and clearly indicated the source from which it was reporting the "controversial" news. The portal Vreme also reported the same news on the same day that Istraga.ba did.
Then how, for Nemanja Rujević, did the news originate from the portal "Istraga", and not from the portal Vreme, which published identical news on the same day.
Damn it, it's easier to shift the blame onto some Avdo from Bosnia than onto Vreme, where Nemanja writes free-spirited columns full of lies. Because Nemanja's lies sound even better in Belgrade than Avdo's or Abdulah's truth.
If he had carefully read the published text on the Istraga.ba portal, he would have seen that the source was clearly stated - Sandžak Danas. And if his goal was not to attack Istraga (and this is not the first attack with lies), Nemanja Rujević would have listed all the portals that reported the controversial news. But he didn't.
Nemanja Rujević writes that the scandal in Leskovac is fabricated. If it is fabricated, why did RTS apologize? If Abdulah Šehović was on the winner's podium, why did RTS publish that he wasn't. Here, for columnist Rujević, is a screenshot from RTS. I believe he reads Cyrillic more easily than Latin.
RTS wrote that the boy Abdulah was not on the winner's podium. RTS published a report in which the name of the boy Abdulah is not mentioned. Those who don't believe it can watch the attached video.
So, RTS is lying, which apologized for the "fabricated news". The parents are lying. Sandžak Danas is lying. All those media outlets that reported the news are lying. Only Nemanja Rujević is not lying. Because he is Nemanja. And the boy from Sandžak is Abdulah. Or shortened - Avdo.
