A-SDA and NBL no more, united in the People's European Alliance

The founding assembly of the People's European Alliance was held in Sarajevo.

As previously announced, Nermin Ogrešević was elected president, and Ibrahim Hadžibajrić as his deputy.

“Party bodies have been constituted, but we have not elected all of them, we have left room for new people to opt in as the party grows,” Hadžibajrić told reporters.

He emphasized that a “political step forward” had been made.

“I hope this will be an example for others to follow in our footsteps. We remain open to new accessions. New political forces. We need to consolidate, not divide,” Hadžibajrić said.

He emphasized that he was particularly pleased that “Sarajevo and Krajina, which were quite distant, are coming closer in this way too.”
