No major traffic problems due to wind, some broken branches reported

(Patria) - Although meteorologists announced strong wind gusts, which BIHAMK warned about this morning, especially in the central and western parts of our country, no major problems have been recorded in traffic so far.

Nevertheless, on some sections, broken branches and materials carried onto the road by the wind may be encountered, which can endanger safe traffic.

We appeal to all drivers to be especially careful, adjust their speed to the road conditions, and be prepared for sudden obstacles.

Maintenance work is underway on the Hum, Pečuj, Ričice, and Klopče tunnels, due to which traffic is suspended on the A-1 motorway section Zenica jug-Zenica sjever (Zenica bypass).

Due to landslide remediation on the A-1 motorway section Tarčin-Lepenica, the tunnel tubes of Vis, 25. novembar, and Grab tunnels are closed to traffic, and traffic is proceeding in both directions on the opposite side of the motorway.

Due to active landslides, we highlight the main roads Dobro Polje-Foča (at the locations Sijeračke stijene and Tuhalji) and Gacko-Tjentište (between the Čemerno and Surdup tunnels).

On the main road Jablanica-Blidinje, traffic is still suspended due to road damage.

Due to an active landslide, traffic is interrupted on the regional roads Vrbaška-Mrakovica (in the Vučijak quarry area) and Ugljevik-Glavičice, in the village of Ugljevik.

Works are also ongoing on the A-1 Visoko-Podlugovi motorway, as well as on the main roads: Vozuća-Zavidovići, Moševac-Kosova, Polje-Kaćuni (in the settlement of Kaćuni), Sarajevo-Pale, Gnojnice-Nevesinje (Dračevice), Lepenica-Han Ploča, Jablanica-Mostar (Donja Jablanica and bypass through Mostar), and Sarajevo-Hadžići.

On the main road Rogatica-Ustiprača, due to bridge damage, vehicles up to 30 tons are using one lane, while traffic is suspended for vehicles over 30 tons.

At border crossings, passenger vehicles are not waiting longer than 30 minutes.

Due to bridge damage, the Brčko border crossing can only be used by pedestrians.

Traffic is prohibited for vehicles over 5 tons of maximum permissible weight at the Karakaj border crossing (near Zvornik). Trucks over 5 tons are redirected to the Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses can use the Šepak border crossing. Trucks can use the Šepak border crossing from 09:00 to 13:00 and from 22:00 to 06:00 (on weekends, they can cross between 22:00 and 06:00).
