No salary or holiday pay increases in BiH institutions in 2024

(Patria) - The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at the proposal of the Ministry of Finance and Treasury, adopted individual decisions on the base amount for salary calculation and the amount of holiday pay for employees in institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2024, without any increase compared to 2023.

The base amount for salary calculation in 2024 remains 600 KM, as does the holiday pay in institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the amount of 450 KM.

With the aim of improving the material position of employees, as well as in response to demands from representative unions of employees in BiH institutions, the daily allowance for official travel within the country was adjusted from 25 KM to 40 KM.
