Information that appeared in the media that the World Bank estimated the damage after the floods in BiH at 150 million dollars is not correct, it was confirmed by the World Bank representation in BiH for the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).
Namely, damage assessments are still being made in consultation with relevant institutions in BiH and with the help of World Bank experts.
As announced, a press conference will be organized on Monday, which will be attended by the World Bank Director for Southeast Europe Ellen Goldstein, where the economic situation in BiH and the World Bank's assistance in overcoming the consequences of the floods in BiH will also be discussed, NAP reports.
As BiH Minister of Foreign Affairs Zlatko Lagumdžija previously stated, more serious damage assessments can be made in the next two to three weeks, until the landslide situation calms down and the danger of the Sava River overflowing passes.
