No quorum for work in the House of Representatives of BiH PS

(Patria) - An emergency session of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina will not be held today due to a lack of quorum. The session was postponed until 1 PM, but even after that, it was determined that there were no conditions for continuing work. 21 representatives were present in the hall, and 22 are needed for a quorum.

"Unfortunately, some decided not to come, they will interpret that," said the Chairperson Denis Zvizdić.

Members of the Collegium from the Serb and Croat people, as well as representatives of most parties from RS and HDZ, were not present in the hall. Nada Mladina (SDP), Halid Genjac (SDA), and Enver Bijedić (SD) are also not attending the session. 

The caucus of the HDZ BiH in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina decided not to attend today's emergency session of this house.

They also informed their other colleagues in the house about this decision.

- We believe that there are no reasons whatsoever for convening an emergency session and that the Chairperson (Denis Zvizdić, op. a.) made the decision to convene it without any agreement with the members of the Collegium, using the possibility provided by the rules of procedure. Namely, the items proposed are not of any urgency, especially the item on voting in the second round from previous sessions, as some have been waiting for months - part of the explanation from the HDZ Caucus.
