No quorum: KS Assembly session interrupted again

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Danijela Kristić, Chairperson of the KS Assembly, stated that 15 deputies are present at the continuation of the 19th working session of the Assembly, and due to the lack of a quorum, the session was interrupted. This is the second interruption of the same session. The first was also interrupted on January 8 due to the lack of a quorum. Deputies from SDA, SBB, DF, and BOSS, who represent the new majority in the Assembly, did not attend the session. They recognize Mirza Čelik as the chairperson elected at the session on December 28, 2019. Their demand is for the KS Assembly seal to be returned to the Assembly secretary, after which the Assembly would continue its work.

Deputy Damir Nikšić asked if the session could continue, or if there were any obstacles to the continuation of this session, which has been interrupted twice.

The Assembly secretary stated that there are no obstacles to its resumption, nor is there a deadline for when it should happen.

The decision on temporary financing was supposed to be adopted at today's session. A new session is announced for 10 AM, with the agenda including determining the date of the session to vote no confidence in the KS Government, as well as the election of Mirza Čelik to the leadership of the KS Assembly, replacing Elmedin Konaković.
