Several dozen former soldiers remain in front of the FBiH Parliament

SARAJevo, (Patria) - Several dozen demobilized soldiers remained in front of the Federal Parliament building after today's protests. They announced they are staying in front of this institution. Allegedly, they will receive reinforcements tomorrow, and a large number of police officers continue to secure these protests. Traffic was blocked today from 12 PM. The city center was blocked for almost two hours until the former soldiers returned in front of the Federal Parliament. Around 7 PM, following an agreement between the former soldiers and the police, the road was unblocked, and traffic was normalized along Hamdija Kreševljaković Street. 

Some of the protest participants, whose demonstrations today resulted in clashes with the police, arrests, and injuries to both police officers and soldiers, have pitched tents in front of the FBiH Parliament building. They still maintain their demands for the publication of the veterans' registry and the adoption of the Law on Veterans with all their amendments, meaning they want the law as previously adopted by the House of Representatives.

We remind you that the epilogue of today's protests includes three arrested individuals who attacked police officers, seven injured police officers, and dozens of injured soldiers who received medical assistance during the day.  

Criminal proceedings are being carried out against the arrested individuals, after which they will be handed over to the prosecutor's office, which will decide on further measures.
