Nineteen-year-old Aladin Bašić from Prijedor underwent a demanding heart transplant at the University Clinic in Vienna in December 2012.
Aladin has not forgotten Donna Ares, who is battling a serious illness, and sent her a message saying he clearly remembers when she sang for him, reports the Patria news agency.
-Azra was by my side the whole time, singing for me at the Mladost Hall in Prijedor. And I will never forget that. This new heart of mine wants her to get well soon, to stay strong, says Aladin.
