Let the show begin: Dodik refused to stand, demanded indictment in Cyrillic and RS flag

(Patria) - As could have been expected, and as Milorad Dodik had announced, the proceedings against him at the BiH Court are actually his stage to further humiliate BiH institutions, as well as the state of BiH.

Dodik is a copy of the behavior of Vojislav Šešelj, a war criminal before the Hague Tribunal.

We remind you that the President of RS Milorad Dodik and acting director of the Official Gazette Miloš Lukić have entered their pleas.

Both stated that they do not understand the indictment, to which judge Jasmina Ćosić Dedović, ex officio, announced that this means they have pleaded not guilty.

Then Dodik stated that the flag of RS is not displayed in the Court, but only the flags of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Federation of BiH.

In addition, when entering his plea, Dodik refused to stand and stated that his back hurt.

Also, the President of RS objected to receiving the indictment in Latin script, not in Cyrillic!

Furthermore, Dodik was procedurally asked to confirm the accuracy of his personal data. When asked if his date and place of birth were correct, Dodik said:

"I have no idea, I was a minor. If it says so on the birth certificate, then it's correct," he stated.

Dodik's lawyer said that the accused cannot respond to an indictment he does not understand, to which the judge replied that, in accordance with the law, the accused declares understanding of the indictment at the first hearing of the main trial, and that the question will be asked at that hearing.

Dodik and Lukić are accused of failing to implement the decisions of the High Representative in BiH Christian Schmidt.
