May the days of Eid bring joy, tolerance, and solidarity

On the occasion of the upcoming Kurban-Bajram, congratulations were extended by BiH officials. The Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nermin Nikšić, on behalf of the FBiH Government and himself, congratulated believers of the Islamic faith, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

- It is beautiful to live in a country where we can rejoice in our own holidays, as well as the holidays of members of other religions and peoples for whom Bosnia and Herzegovina is their homeland. In that very spirit, I sincerely wish that the light of this great religious holiday fills your hearts with joy and love. Likewise, I wish that you share the joy of Eid with your family members, as well as your neighbors and friends, regardless of their religion or nationality. By building tolerance, love, and coexistence, we strengthen ourselves and show respect for each other, in order to build Bosnia and Herzegovina together. Bajram šerif mubarek olsun! - states the Eid greeting from the Prime Minister of FBiH.

The President of SBB, Fahrudin Radončić, also extended congratulations to the Rais al-ulama of the Islamic Community in BiH, Husein ef. Kavazović, all Muslims in Bosnia and Herzegovina, neighboring countries, and the diaspora.

- May the coming days of Eid bring us joy, mutual solidarity and understanding, and sensitivity to the situation of the poor and helpless. Bajram Šerif Mubarek Olsun - states the Eid greeting from the President of SBB, Fahrudin Radončić.

Earlier, congratulations were extended by the Mayor of Sarajevo, Ivo Komšić, as well as Dr. Mustafa Cerić, an independent candidate for the Bosniak member of the BiH Presidency, and the Archbishop of Vrhbosna, Cardinal Vinko Puljić.
