Genocide denier proposed to oversee Revised Strategy

SARAJevo, (Patria) - We strongly oppose Milorad Kojić, director of the "Republika Srpska Centre for Research of War, War Crimes and Searching for Missing Persons", being a member of the Supervisory Body for monitoring the implementation of the Revised Strategy.

Someone who publicly denies the genocide in Srebrenica, publicly undermines the judgments of the ICTY / IRMCT, and with whom the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Courts does not wish to cooperate precisely for the reasons of political commentary and belittling of judgments, is not suitable for cooperation.

We remind you that Milorad Kojić also initiated the initiative to reveal the names of witnesses who, in his assessment, "testified falsely" in war crimes cases, thus placing Kojić in the role of both the prosecution and the court with the aim of intimidating witnesses and obstructing all future trials in war crimes cases.

We ask the ministers in the Council of Ministers of BiH to reject the proposal, and to appoint competent and professional persons to the Supervisory Body, not a denier of genocide and court judgments whose founder is the UN.
