In accordance with the Law on Time Calculation („Official Gazette of the Federation of BiH“ no. 24/97 and 50/03), winter time begins on October 26, 2014, by moving the clocks back 60 minutes, so that the time at 3:00 will be considered as 2:00, announced the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Policy.
Incidentally, the only European country where the time change to daylight saving and winter time has been abolished by a decision of President Vladimir Putin is Russia.
Many European countries advocate not changing the clocks, as statistics have shown that a higher number of suicides occur during periods of moving the clocks forward or backward.
