Do not drag Muriz into your dirty wars!

Calling the father of a murdered child, who has been seeking justice for his child for five years, a "human shield" of Chief State Prosecutor Gordana Tadić is not only an insult to that father, but a lack of any empathy for that pain.

That same father, Muriz Memić, filed a criminal complaint against 45 people for multiple criminal offenses back in October 2018. He was forced to conduct two processes - attend hearings where the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office was "proving" a traffic accident, and at the same time, elsewhere, seeking truth and justice. From day one, Muriz Memić has not changed his stance - unlike some who slept for years and now suddenly find it bothersome that the Prosecutor's Office of BiH is conducting an investigation.

I too often wonder why it took the Prosecutor's Office of BiH so long to even launch an investigation (11 months after the report, an investigation into organized crime was opened), and then why it took so long for arrests to be made. And if the Prosecutor's Office of BiH is under pressure, it is largely justified pressure because the judge who ordered the detention of Zijad Mutap and Hasan Dupovac also requested concrete further actions from the prosecutor within the next 30 days.

In the meantime, Memić found himself between several sides because now everyone has remembered that they need to say or deny something. His two TV appearances awakened the ghosts of the past, and some, unfortunately, have joined the whole story with ill intentions. If you cannot help Muriz Memić, then do not hinder him.

Memić is neither a politician nor is he obliged to justify himself to anyone for seeking the truth about his murdered child. Can you just imagine if Memić had accepted the served story about a traffic accident that February 2016, would anyone be talking about Dženan Memić today? Would we have learned about all the connections that exist in political-police-judicial-medical circles? And as much as Muriz Memić, his lawyer Ifet Feraget, and what they present bothers someone, there are also those of us who are bothered by the persistent attempts to hide the truth.

I'm becoming annoying to myself, but do you know what it's like to listen to diametrically opposed witness testimonies for three years, to see autopsy pictures of the young man whose report has been changed six times! How can the first report of the expert witness, which states it was murder, be something else for the next five times. Isn't it high time for the Memić family to find peace.

Memić organized protests in front of the HJPC, called on the Prosecutor's Office of BiH for two years to resolve this case, and is still doing so.

No matter how much it may seem to someone that Muriz Memić is protecting Gordana Tadić or prosecutor Ćazim Hasanspahić, I responsibly claim that if the chief prosecutor or the prosecutor on the case were to change tomorrow, Muriz Memić would have the same request to resolve the case of his son. And he, as the father of a victim, has every right to inform the public that there is pressure.

And Memić should not deal with what Gordana has not done. Memić should not worry about why Dodik has not been held accountable for the illegal referendum, or the stolen icon, why election fraud is not being resolved, or why there is selectivity in the prosecution of war crimes, why the victim and the aggressor are equated.

He is just a father seeking justice, and it would be honest if many would leave him alone while they settle scores with Gordana Tadić.
