Don't answer the phone, it's Bakir calling you into power

Bosnia and Herzegovina, a country for which litres of blood have been shed, is once again in total chaos!

Since the General Elections, a madness seems to have taken hold that even the most perceptive analysts cannot fathom. This state of affairs has been created by none other than those who swear by the blood of Bosnia and Herzegovina's finest sons. The unfortunate souls have awakened spirits, revived political corpses, all for the sake of „keeping their seats“ in power.

Bosnia and Herzegovina now has a third, fourth, fifth, sixth... parliamentary majority. The latest, and one could say old, is that of SDA - HDZ BiH – BPS – SBiH - A-SDA. They have said they will operate at the level of the FBiH entity, Una-Sana, Bosnian-Podrinje, Tuzla, and Herzegovina-Neretva cantons.

Such a coalition was agreed upon by responsible people from the SDA, led by Bakir Izetbegović (advised by Aljoša Čampara, Asim Sarajlić, Denis Zvizdić... Insiders claim that many things are even kept from him, so Izetbegović often becomes a victim of his own moves).

The new coalition is actually just a reunion of old comrades. Members of SBiH, BPS, and especially A-SDA are mostly former members of the SDA. Now they have decided to think the same as before. When they were in the SDA. They support reform processes, although until a year or more ago they publicly stated that they were leaving the mother party for moral and ethical reasons.

Sefer Halilović (who turned his back on Izetbegović for 20 years) justifies himself by saying he does not want a seat, but is there to propose laws, initiatives, to eradicate crime... They say he even swore, and by nimet (a sacred oath), that he entered power for that reason. One should believe the man. Because who would dare swear such a high oath without telling the truth. Halilović also knows that if he lied, his mouth could turn. Then how would he speak.

"Doomsayers" warned that it would have been better for Izetbegović to withdraw from power than to enter a coalition with the Halilovićs. You don't read the same book twice, because you already know the ending. And in this one, it is darker than in the darkest Indian soap operas. Unfortunately, from Čampara and Zvizdić to Izetbegović, not a single voice can get through.

It is an open secret that the so-called small parties have blackmailed Izetbegović. They supported the SDA's Labour Law, and in return demand that Izetbegović fill their empty coffers. How deep and empty those coffers are, we will see in the continuation of the turbulent summer and even more turbulent autumn.

And that is precisely what the wise heads fear. Izetbegović's advisors, who persuaded him to revive political corpses, are now rubbing their hands. But they will be clutching their heads when the payment for the hastily made friendship begins. It is hard to feed the hungry. And who can be hungrier for power, public companies, and state money than those who have once tasted it.
