End of government formation in sight: DF and SDA reach agreement, awaiting Čović's stance

Today, delegations of SDA and the Democratic Front met in Sarajevo to jointly reach an agreement on the formation of government in the Federation of BiH, which will be presented at tomorrow's meeting to the leader of HDZ BiH, Dragan Čović, writes the Patria News Agency.

DF leader Željko Komšić said after the meeting that they managed to reach a compromise solution today, which is a fair proposal, but that he does not want to talk about details until it is presented to Čović tomorrow.

Safet Softić, a member of the Presidency of SDA, said that he believes a final agreement on the Government of the Federation of BiH can be reached in the next day or two.

The solution agreed upon by these two parties today, according to Softić, involves a compromise where each party gives up something, but that it would not be fair to go public with details until they sit down with Čović.
