Fans receiving vaccines against yellow fever and hepatitis A

The World Cup in Brazil starts on June 12, and travelers to Brazil are rushing to complete all obligations to set off on this long journey as prepared as possible. The BiH national team is playing in the biggest world football gathering for the first time in its history, and although it is a distant destination, there is no shortage of interest in traveling. Given that the championship is being played in South America, vaccination is recommended, which was stated in a statement to the Patria news agency by Anto Perić, who has already been vaccinated and is traveling to Brazil on June 6.

- I am traveling to Brazil through an agency from Split. I am going with seven friends, and we have all been vaccinated against yellow fever and hepatitis A. The people from the agency told us they would also give us malaria medication. Nothing is a problem for us, because we have waited a long time for BiH to play at the World Cup – Perić told NAP.

He further added that he received the vaccines at the "Vrazovo" Health Center in Sarajevo, and that he will stay in Brazil for three matches and will follow the Dragons' performances against Argentina, Nigeria, and Iran.

- We hope to advance from the group. Whatever happens later, the important thing is that we are finally at a major competition – Perić added.

Otherwise, this is the first time since the championship in Argentina in 1978 that the World Cup is being held in South America, in accordance with FIFA's policy of rotating the right to host championships among confederations that make up FIFA.
