Mirvet Beganović, a representative of the Labour Party in the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament, died in an accident on his family property.
"With deep sorrow, we announce that our Mirvet Beganović, a member of the Federal Parliament, has left us by tragic death. May he rest in peace, and may his family have patience," the headquarters of the Labour Party of BiH announced.
Beganović (54) was transported to the Velika Kladuša Health Center after the accident, where the on-duty doctor pronounced him dead.
Beganović was born in Pećigrad and began his political career in 2006 as an advisor in the Municipality of Velika Kladuša. He also served as a representative in the Assembly of the Una-Sana Canton from 2010 to 2014, and as a delegate in the House of Peoples in the previous term of the FBiH Parliament. In the last elections in October 2018, he was elected as a representative in the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament.
He served as the Deputy President of the Labour Party.
