Mass signing of resignations by doctors in Tuzla Canton continues

TUZLA, (Patria) - The mass signing of resignations by doctors in Tuzla Canton continued today.

After Živinice, doctors from health centers in Gradačac, Srebrenik, Gračanica, Lukavac, Kalesija and Doboj Jug are signing written resignations.

- Despite threats, the signing of resignations has begun at the Tuzla Health Center and the University Clinical Center, even though they are not on strike - said Dr. Admir Suljić, president of the Professional Union of Doctors of Medicine and Dentistry of Tuzla Canton, for BHRT.

The convening of an emergency session of the Tuzla Canton Assembly was met with optimism by this union, as they believe the cantonal government will not be able to continue ignoring their request for recognition of representativeness status.
