
(Patria) - The investigation at the Tuzla Retirement Home began in the early morning hours, with the presence of fire protection inspectors.
This information was confirmed by Admir Arnautović, spokesperson for the Prosecutor's Office of Tuzla Canton.
As he stated, the duty prosecutor, in cooperation with the investigative team of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Interior of Tuzla Canton, with the presence of experts and professionals, has continued investigative actions since this morning to determine the circumstances of the fire's origin, as well as all other circumstances that led to this accident.
"Surveillance footage from the Home has been seized. Today, actions will be taken to identify the bodies of the deceased, and orders for autopsies will be issued," he stated.
The public will be promptly informed of all actions to be taken in the coming period.
A press conference at the Prosecutor's Office on the human trafficking case is also announced for today, and as Arnautović confirmed, it will also address the actions of the Prosecutor's Office, the Ministry of Interior of Tuzla Canton, and experts in conducting investigative actions and carrying out the investigation at the Tuzla Retirement Home.
In the fire that engulfed the Retirement Home last night, 11 people died, while more than 30 were injured.
