(Patria) - After the Cantonal Court in Mostar lifted the strike ban measure, the Union of the University Clinical Hospital Mostar plans to continue the strike that began on August 25, confirmed for BHRT Dalibor Vuković from the Coordination of Healthcare Workers' Unions of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton.
He also announced the possibility of organizing the largest protest gathering so far.
As he stated, the Union of the University Clinical Hospital Mostar has unofficially received the decision to lift the strike ban measure by the Cantonal Court in Mostar, and today it should be physically delivered to them by the Municipal Court in Mostar.
Let us recall, the general strike of healthcare workers in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton has been ongoing for three weeks, and only emergency medical examinations are being performed in healthcare facilities.
Currently, about a thousand workers are on strike.
Healthcare workers are demanding salary increases and equal treatment – signing an annex to the Collective Agreement that would increase their coefficient by 0.50, in the same way as was done for the Union of Doctors of Medicine and Dentistry.
